Miss Lakeside and Teen Miss Lakeside are Youth Ambassadors for the community of Lakeside, California, an unincorporated community in East County in San Diego. This year we celebrate 48 years of community service and volunteerism through the pageant. These young ladies strive to become involved with the organizations and citizens of Lakeside, in an effort to make a positive difference and influence their peers to become "part of the solution".
          Endorsed by the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce, The East County Property Owner's Association, they are also members of the Lakeside Highway Lions Club and the Lakeside Historical Society. These young women also assist the East County Boys and Girls Club in fundraising efforts and are involved with a multi-year commitment to assist Susan G. Komen For The Cure at San Diego events and are leaders in the sale of the "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" Wrangler Belt to raise funds for Komen San Diego. They are tireless volunteers that work for the betterment of our community and our County.
          As the Official Representatives of Lakeside, these young ladies and their Court members travel throughout San Diego County and beyond,  lending a helping hand donating hundreds, often thousands, of volunteer hours every year. These young ladies grow in personal strength and character, finding their voices and personal self confidence through their work as area representatives. They are truly the leaders of tomorrow.
